Resumo
In the present paper is notified for the first time in the Brasiilan amazon region, the ocurrence of Bachia cophias
(Schneider, 1801), anapod lizard of the Teiidae family. The autor gives a description of the only specimen collected, as well as, short notes on the geographic distribution and some ecological observations.
