O livro reúne aquarelas de Mário Baratta e trovas de Juraci Siqueira. Voltado ao público infantil, a obra conta a história da arte rupestre da região, dos povos, do meio ambiente e da cultura amazônica, incentivando a valorização e a preservação do patrimônio arqueológico e cultural da região. Além disso, para o seu desenvolvimento, a obra teve o apoio da professora Edithe Pereira, uma historiadora e arqueóloga super importante nas pesquisas sobre arte rupestre amazônica.
Resumo
The book brings together watercolors by Mário Baratta and verses by Juraci Siqueira. Aimed at children, the work tells the story of the rock art of the region, its peoples, the environment, and the Amazonian culture, encouraging the appreciation and preservation of the region's archaeological and cultural heritage. Furthermore, its development benefited from the support of Professor Edithe Pereira, a highly important historian and archaeologist in research on Amazonian rock art.
