Dominique Buchillet chegou a Belém e ao Museu Paraense Emilio Goeldi em 1984, onde colaborou no Programa de Pesquisa sobre Ocupação Humana da Amazônia, em um convênio entre o ORSTOM e o CNPq. Essa cooperação internacional fortaleceu instituições como o INPA. Durante sua estadia, dividimos uma sala, onde desenvolvemos uma amizade por meio de afinidades culturais, trocando ideias, livros e notícias que continuaram mesmo após sua saída do Brasil.
Resumo
Dominique Buchillet arrived in Belém and at the Museu Paraense Emilio Goeldi in 1984, where he collaborated on the Research Program on Human Occupation of the Amazon, in an agreement between ORSTOM and CNPq. This international cooperation strengthened institutions such as INPA. During his stay, we shared a room, where we developed a friendship through cultural affinities, exchanging ideas, books and news that continued even after he left Brazil.
