No município de Chaves, ilha de Marajó (PA), foram coletadas amostras de briófitas (musgos e hepáticas), com o objetivo de determinar a diversidade da brioflora, em continuação ao projeto que visa a estudar este grupo em todos os municípios da ilha de Marajó. O material coletado está sendo identificado, a nível específico, com auxílio de chaves taxonômicas e/ou comparação com material de referência. Até o momento, foram identificadas 09 famílias de musgos: Sematophyllaceae, Thuidiaceae, Pottiaceae, Fissidentaceae, Bryaceae, Leucobryaceae, Calymperaceae, Hookeriaceae, Hypnaceae. Dentro das famílias, as espécies que mais se destacaram pelo número de ocorrências foram: Taxithelium planum (Brid.), Mitt., Sematophyllum subsimplex (Hedw.) Mitt., Hyophila involuta (Hook.) Jaeg., Octoblepharum albidum Hedw. Var albidum, Calymperes palisotti subsp. richardii (C. Muell.) S. Edwards e Bryum apiculatum Schwaegr., apresentadas neste trabalho com comentários taxonômicos e fotomicrografias.
Resumo
In the municipality of Chaves, Marajó Island (PA), samples of bryophytes (mosses and liverworts) were collected in order to determine the diversity of the brioflora, in continuation to the project that aims to study this group in all municipalities of Marajó Island. The collected material is being identified, at specific level, with the help of taxonomic keys and/or comparison with reference material. So far, 09 families of mosses have been identified: Sematophyllaceae, Thuidiaceae, Pottiaceae, Fissidentaceae, Bryaceae, Leucobryaceae, Calymperaceae, Hookeriaceae, Hypnaceae. Within the families, the species that stood out by the number of occurrences were: Taxithelium planum (Brid.), Mitt., Sematophyllum subsimplex (Hedw.) Mitt., Hyophila involuta (Hook.) Jaeg., Octoblepharum albidum Hedw. Var albidum, Calymperes palisotti subsp. richardii (C. Muell.) S. Edwards and Bryum apiculatum Schwaegr., presented in this paper with taxonomic comments and photomicrographs.
