Os constituintes voláteis da raiz e do rizoma de Montrichardia linifera, coletados no aningal do Mangal das Garças, em Belém, Pará, foram obtidos por destilação e extração simultânea (DES) e analisados por cromatografia gasosa acoplada à espectrometria de massa (CG-EM), com o objetivo de contribuir para a identificação desses constituintes, submetidos a dois tempos de extração. Um total de 42 constituintes voláteis foi identificado na raiz, sendo pentadecanal, álcool veratril, ácido palmítico e 2-decanona os constituintes majoritários. Do rizoma, foram identificados 38 componentes voláteis,
destacando-se o ácido palmítico, pentadecanal, tetracosano, desidro-1,8-cineol e fitona. Este é o primeiro estudo sobre os constituintes voláteis de Montrichardia linifera.
Resumo
The volatile constituents from the root and rhizome of Montrichardia linifera, collected in the Mangal das Garças mangrove (Belém, Pará), were obtained by simultaneous distillation extraction (SDE), and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), with the objective of contributing to the identification of constituents of the plant, subjected to two extraction times. A total of 42 volatile constituents were identified in the root, with Pentadecanal, Veratryl alcohol, Palmitic acid, and 2-Decanone as the major components. From the rhizome 38 constituents were identified, and the most
significative were: Palmitic acid, Pentadecanal, Tetracosane, Dehydro-1,8-cineole, and Phytone. This is the first report on the volatile constituents of Montrichardia linifera.
