O objetivo desta pesquisa foi identificar as espécies florestais de uso medicinal na Feira do Produtor Rural de Itaituba e avaliar a relação deste espaço com o extrativismo de um dos principais produtos identificados, o óleo de andiroba. Verificou-se que a feira reflete o contexto socioambiental do município e sua valorização não pode ser completa se não for associada à permanência da floresta em pé.
Resumo
The objective of this research was to identify the forest species of medicinal use in the Fair of the Rural Producer of Itaituba and to evaluate the relation of this space with the extractivism of one of the main products identified, andiroba oil. It was verified that the fair reflects the social-environmental context of the municipality and its valorization can not be complete if it is not associated with the permanence of the standing forest.
