Resumo
It is described the new species Centrosema carajasense from the Amazonian Region, probably the first Centrosema unifoliolate found there and for that well distinguishable among the other. it approaches of C. hastatum but the size and shape of the folioles, as well as of the stipules and bracteoles, distinguish the two species at first sight.
