Contribuição ao conhecimento do gênero Diospyros Dalech. (Ebenaceae) na Amazônia.

Abstract

In this paper the author deals with the Amazonian species of the genus Diospyros and describes female and male flower or fruits of some species, in whose original diagnosis such elements were not described. According author of renown, the genus Maba was included into Diospyros. The kay to the Sections is based on Hiern´s Monograph, but with deep modifications. At the end of each discription there is a short commentary, as well as the geographical distribution of each species. At the end of the paper there is also a list of the cited collections, by the numerical order of each author.
