O trabalho que desenvolvo está relacionado a um projeto mais abrangente intitulado: Povoamento Pré-Histórico e Etno-Histórico da Micro Região do Tapajós e a sua Relação com o Meio Ambiente. A região específica referente ao meu estudo abrange as seguintes áreas indígenas localizadas no município de Itaituba: Jardim das Araras, Praia do índio e Sai Cinza, onde uma equipe do Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi identificou vários sítios arqueológicos, que serão objeto de estudo aprofundado ao longo do desenvolvimento do projeto. Atualmente, trabalho mais precisamente com as populações vivas, visando uma análise socioeconômica cultural. Para atingir tal objetivo iniciei fazendo um levantamento bibliográfico; e para o trabalho de campo elaborei um questionário que será aplicado nas áreas indígenas acima citadas, com a finalidade de conhecer melhor as relações sociais ali estabelecidas, a adaptação do homem ao meio ambiente e o seu material cultural.
Resumo
The work I develop is related to a more comprehensive project entitled: Prehistoric and Ethno-Historical Settlement of the Tapajós Micro Region and its Relationship with the Environment. The specific region referring to my study covers the following indigenous areas located in the municipality of Itaituba: : Jardim das Araras, Praia do Índio and Sai Cinza, where a team from the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi identified several archaeological sites, which will be the subject of in-depth study throughout the development of the project. Currently, I work more precisely with living populations, aiming at a cultural socioeconomic analysis. To achieve this goal I started doing a bibliographic survey; and for the field work I elaborated a questionnaire that will be applied in the indigenous areas mentioned above, in order to better know the social relations established there, the adaptation of man to the environment and its cultural material.
