Essa terceira edição da revista Aru, com seis trabalhos de autoria indígena que tratam dos chamados “lugares sagrados”1, insere-se no contexto de uma série de iniciativas que acontecem desde os anos de 1990, de pesquisas de cunho intercultural e colaborativo, em que ocorreram expedições, intercâmbios, publicações, documentários, pesquisas em escolas indígenas e universidades;
todas envolveram pesquisadores indígenas e não indígenas com o intuito de registrar as diversas formas de conhecimento associadas às paisagens do rio Negro.
Resumo
This third edition of the Aru magazine, with six works by indigenous authors that deal with the so-called “sacred places”1, is part of the context of a series of initiatives that have been taking place since the 1990s, involving intercultural and collaborative research, in which expeditions, exchanges, publications, documentaries, research in indigenous schools and universities took place; all of which involved indigenous and non-indigenous researchers with the aim of recording the various forms of knowledge associated with the landscapes of the rio Negro.
