| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O município de Mirinzal localiza-se em uma região denominada Amazônia Maranhense, ecologicamente importante, mas pouco conservada, na qual apenas um estudo com briófi ta foi realizado. Objetivou-se investigar a riqueza e aspectos ecológicos (ecossistema e substrato) de briófi tas em Terra Firme na Fazenda Timbó, município de Mirinzal, Maranhão. No total, foram registradas nove famílias, 26 gêneros e 47 espécies, das quais cinco são novos registros para o Maranhão, sendo Cololejeunea sintenisii (Steph.) Steph. nova ocorrência para o Nordeste brasileiro. A inexistência de diferença na riqueza e a alta similaridade na composição das espécies entre as trilhas estudadas indicaram a alta degradação do ambiente na Amazônia Maranhense. |
| Abstract: | Mirinzal is situated in a region called the Amazonia Maranhense, ecologically important but poorly conserved, where there is only one study on bryophytes. This study aims to investigate the richness and ecological aspects (ecosystem and substrate) of bryophytes in Timbó farm, Terra Firme forest in the municipality of Mirinzal, Maranhão. In total, nine families, 26 genera, and 47 species where registered, of which fi ve are new occurrences for Maranhão, and Cololejeunea sintenisii (Steph.) Steph. is a new record for the Brazilian Northeast. The inexistence of differences in species richness and the high similarity of species composition among the studied trails indicate environmental degradation, common to the Amazonia Maranhense. |
