A requalificação territorial do cemitério da soledade: Belém – Pará

Abstract

This article is one of the technical products of the doctoral thesis research entitled “Urban land regularization and access to environmental justice: mediation in urban and environmental land regularization in the state of Pará”. The objective was to construct the diagnostic study applying the methodology proposed by action research, inserted in the territorial approach to development. To use specialized technical mediation to construct a diagnosis of territorial requalification, relating Reurb and disaster prevention. The diagnosis as a management tool for a complex project inserted in the challenge of territorial requalification. The Anthropocene will be presented in the temporal perspective, including as a methodological tool. The territorial cutout is the Nossa Senhora da Soledade Cemetery in Belém do Pará – a historical heritage site listed by the National Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage. Finally, some results of the dynamics of monitoring the execution of the territorial requalification project are presented, with an emphasis on safeguarding the historical and archaeological heritage, addressing the two vulnerabilities in environmental disasters, flooding and animal abandonment. In the final considerations, some proposals are presented for the construction of a management plan.
