Metadados descritivos em acervos digitais: um estudo de caso no acervo de línguas Indígenas do Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi

Abstract

With recent technical and technological advances in the information area, there has been a proliferation of digital archives, so it is important to have information control in digital databases. This article aims to analyze the creation and standardization of metadata of the Indigenous Language Collection of the Museu Paraense Emílio Goeldi. In this study, we seek to apply the principles of the General Theory of Terminology, the Communicational Theory of Terminology and the Indexing Theory, interconnecting them with the areas of Linguistics and Information Science.
